Landoil offers cellulose ethers and other chemicals for a variety of markets, such as oil drilling, mining, papermaking, paint, food, beverage, daily chemicals, ceramic, etc. Standing behind all of our chemical products is our promise to meet the highest standards in aspect of efficiency, reliability and safety.
Our portfolio includes polyanionic cellulose (PAC), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), polyacrylamide (PAM), partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (PHPA), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) and xanthan gum.
Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC)
Polyanionic cellulose, abbreviated as PAC, is a water-soluble polymer derived from cellulose that has been chemically reacted with carboxymethyl groups (anionic). Further purification of the product is conducted to dramatically raise the active polymer content. PAC has many applications in the oil and gas industry to control fluid loss and viscosity, as well as inhibit shale.
Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC)
We can get your sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) custom manufactured, and precisely oriented to the requirements of your specific applications of oil drilling, mining, paper, ceramic, food & beverage, daily chemicals, personal care, paint, and more.
Polyacrylamide (PAM)
Our many years of experience in the chemical industry mean we understand the needs of users from a multitude of market segments. We will take time to listen to your needs and produce what you require regarding all aspects of specifications, testing methods and packaging.
Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide (PHPA)
PHPA (partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide) is a kind of drilling mud additive that is used for shale stabilization, viscosity modifying, friction reduction, fluid loss control and lubrication in both industrial and oil/gas drilling, and suitable for use in both fresh water and brines with high temperature.
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC)
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic, water soluble cellulose ether with properties of film forming, water retention, stability and adhesiveness. It is frequently used in building materials to enhance adhesion, water retention, lubricity, shrink resistance and crack resistance.
Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC)
Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a non-ionic, water soluble cellulose ether that can be used in combination with other water-soluble polymers, surfactants and salts. HEC can be used extensively in the paint, cosmetics, oil drilling, and other sectors because of its thickening, suspending, bonding, emulsifying, film forming, dispersion, water retention, anti-microbial, and protective colloid characteristics.
Xanthan Gum
Xanthan gum is a water-soluble polysaccharide, commercially produced by a distinct fermentation process of Xanthomonas campestris, and does not contain any other polysaccharide, such as starch, guar gum or other naturally occurring polymers or their derivatives. Xanthan gum is an off-white, free flowing granular powder.
