PAC has many applications in the oil and gas industry to control fluid loss and viscosity, as well as inhibit shale. When compared to carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) products, PAC commonly provides a higher substitution and purity degree. Generally, PAC products are free-flowing powder or granules.
